Episode 4: Synopsis Having bribed their way past the southern gate, Soujun, Utaki and Yu-ri have finally set foot in TOKYO, the dazzling city of endless bloom — and their very first stop is the rough outer ward of MACHIDA. Yu-ri makes it plain that he is nobody’s babysitter, but the calm shatters the moment Alice comes flying in with terrible news: Utaki has wandered off and gotten herself completely lost. The truth, of course, is that Utaki is convinced everyone else is the one who is lost. Treating the whole city as her own private sightseeing tour, she snags a cute new shirt, digs a leopard-print megaphone out of a trash heap, and starts belting out songs at full blast through the back alleys. But that racket carries straight to Janga, the brutal, foul-mouthed yakuza who has slipped into MACHIDA hunting for the Ash of Nue. When the two finally collide, he mistakes the loud little troublemaker for a Fuser hiding in plain sight — and decides she would make a fine meal. And with the Carabiner gendarmes choosing this very moment to haul Yu-ri off on a bribery charge, who is left to come to her rescue? Can Utaki survive her very first day of sightseeing in TOKYO?
