Episode 7: “DECISION” On what should be their last night in TOKYO, Soujun and Utaki finally reach a late-night sushi bar in MACHIDA — the dream Utaki has chased for twelve years. As she loses herself in her first bites and old Ojiki watches over them, Soujun quietly resolves to head home in the morning, heeding Yu-ri’s warning that the city is overrun with crime. But the peace shatters in an instant: the Geji-gumi, remnants of the fallen Mukade-gumi, ram a truck into the town, hunting Janga and threatening to scrap all of MACHIDA. With his heart engine out of fuel and Utaki blind with rage, Soujun must make the one choice that reveals who he truly is — for his sister’s sake.

DURRUN Episode 7, page 11: the attacking Geji-gumi, remnants of the old Mukade-gumi, ram their truck and roar for Janga to come out, bent on revenge for three years ago
DURRUN Episode 7, page 12: the Geji-gumi rampage in their truck and threaten to scrap all of MACHIDA, while residents beg for the Carabiner gendarmes to arrive
DURRUN Episode 7, page 13: a furious Utaki charges toward the Geji-gumi, still muttering about her ruined kohada, as the gang notices the child
DURRUN Episode 7, page 14: Soujun tackles and restrains a raging Utaki, admitting his heart engine is out of gasoline and he cannot fight, as Utaki vows not to stay silent after her dream was smashed
DURRUN Episode 7, page 15: recalling their late mother's plea to look after Utaki, Soujun desperately holds his sister back, warning the yakuza kill women and children, while Utaki demands why dream-wreckers should run wild
DURRUN Episode 7, page 16: Ojiki appears, affirms Utaki's fury yet tells Soujun he is not wrong either, then proposes a risky plan to seize the enemy truck's gasoline and refuel Soujun's empty tank
DURRUN Episode 7, page 17: Soujun resolves to act for Utaki's sake as Ojiki launches him at high speed over the bewildered Geji-gumi toward their truck
DURRUN Episode 7, page 18: Soujun smashes face-first into the Geji-gumi truck at full speed, groaning at his own recklessness, as Ojiki's voice urges him on to avenge MACHIDA and his sister
DURRUN Episode 7, page 19: Soujun opens the truck's fuel tank to steal gasoline when the leaking fuel ignites and the truck explodes, the Geji-gumi mistaking it for a Yamori-gumi strike as a fused Soujun resolves to fight
