Episode 8: “REVENGE” Fueled at last, Soujun tears into the Geji-gumi — the masochistic yakuza of Zone 3 CHOFU who still take him for Yamori-gumi — to avenge the dream they shattered. He catches their weapons barehanded and overpowers them, but one chained foe feels no pain, so old Ojiki calls a desperate gamble: Utaki’s megaphone and an insult so foul the page itself is censored. As Sergeant Komori’s Carabiner stalls and TW18 closes in, Soujun lifts a two-ton horse overhead and roars the one reason he fights — they ruined Utaki’s dream. But his fusion fuel is almost spent, and a revived Gezirow has plans of his own.

DURRUN Episode 8, page 10: the chained Geji-gumi keeps grinning under Soujun's blows, revealing that while bound he cannot be downed by physical pain
DURRUN Episode 8, page 11: Ojiki warns Soujun that chasing the pain-proof foe will drain his fuel and proposes a gamble instead

DURRUN Episode 8, page 14: when enraged Geji-gumi who are not masochists turn their weapons on Utaki, Soujun cuts in and scatters them by hurling a downed gangster like a projectile
DURRUN Episode 8, page 15: Soujun shrugs that the TOKYO yakuza give him no real challenge as the brawl drags on
DURRUN Episode 8, page 16: a masochistic Geji-gumi boasts he has become a killing toy, daring Soujun to hurl his two-ton triangular wooden horse at him
DURRUN Episode 8, page 17: Soujun slams into the foe at full speed as the brutal fight presses on
DURRUN Episode 8, page 18: irritated by the gang chanting that Yamori's era is over, Soujun hoists the killing-toy officer and his two-ton horse overhead as the Geji-gumi stare in shock

DURRUN Episode 8, page 20: in the battle's wake Soujun's vision blurs as he realizes his fusion stamina is running out far sooner than expected
DURRUN Episode 8, page 21: the pain-proof officer rises again to bind Soujun in chains as a revived Gezirow, stunned he is a Fuser, declares Soujun will join the Geji-gumi
